I actually got in a chop-chop, really uncomfortable & slightly nauseous (during the LBH – with all those cookies in my stomach) yoga practice yesterday. Just before going out, for a little bit. Gigantic Brewing. So Portland! The SE around there is just past railroad storage wastelands. Then there’s this little brewery, with delivery from the food cart next door, 808 Grinds. Used to be two food carts, but is now down to the one. They’ll still forget to bring utensils and napkins, when they come to find you, lol.
The namesake IPA was good though. I had some wontons. I really shouldn’t have eaten anything, but whatever. We got to the front room when the only other people, besides the bartender, was one couple at the front picnic table. So we snagged the sofa and got to eavesdrop on what sounded like some earnest, first date conversation. The guy was working. I think it might’ve lead to a second date…
I’m gonna post this tomorrow but back date it.
Watched Devil when we got back. This was even better than Pet Sematary. Great suspense w/ a low budget and not fancy sets. Amazon subscribers (even the soon to be departing like myself) people should watch this before it leaves Prime on 12/1.
So… the devil has chosen / orchestrated this particular elevator b/c everyone in it “has it coming”. I have an idea for who should be in the next elevator, in the sequel.
Did a no frills, no times poses practice at the last minute, just so I could go out & have some beer and not feel tragic about it. I’m glad I did it. I should probably be doing two practices a week. My mind/body seems to need it.
